Privacy Policy

What we collect, what we don't, and why.

Last updated: April 20, 2026

The short version

Wordoh does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, contact list, location, or any personally identifying information from within the app. Puzzle progress is stored locally on your device (and optionally synced via iCloud if you have that enabled at the OS level).

What we collect

Locally on your device

  • Your puzzle progress and completed puzzles
  • Your selected difficulty tier and preferences
  • Purchase records for any premium puzzle packs

This information stays on your device unless you choose to sync it through iCloud. We do not have servers that store your gameplay data.

Anonymous analytics

Wordoh may collect anonymous, aggregated usage information — puzzle completion rates, crash reports, and performance metrics — to help us improve the app. This data is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you personally. You can opt out of this in the iOS Settings app under Privacy → Analytics.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive a transaction receipt for validating the purchase but do not receive your payment information, Apple ID email, or billing address.

What we don't collect

  • Your name, email address, or phone number
  • Your location
  • Your contacts, photos, or other files on your device
  • Advertising identifiers (Wordoh does not show ads)
  • Information from other apps you use

Children's privacy

Wordoh is suitable for players of all ages, including children. The Kids tier (ages 6–9) has no ads, no social features, no external links, and no in-app purchases surfaced to the player. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple's Kids Category guidelines. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

Third-party services

Wordoh uses Apple's built-in services for in-app purchases, iCloud sync, and crash reporting. We do not use third-party advertising networks, third-party analytics providers, or social media SDKs.

Your rights

Because Wordoh does not collect personal information tied to your identity, there is generally no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete. You can delete all local Wordoh data at any time by uninstalling the app. To delete iCloud data, use the iOS Settings app under iCloud → Manage Storage → Wordoh.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version at this URL. Substantive changes will also be communicated in the app's release notes.
